Cyber, Director & Officers, Employment Practices and Professional Liability

The financial services industry is one of the largest components of the US economy, covering a broad array of company types and services. From a risk management perspective, this industry is characterized by a number of unique considerations that must be evaluated to properly construct the optimal insurance program. And the landscape has only become more challenging in the aftermath of the Great Recession, as a result of increased legal and regulatory burdens.

The experienced Financial Services team at Windermere is adept at navigating clients through this volatile territory by identification and management of key industry and company-specific risks. Areas of focus include asset/wealth managers, banks/credit unions, finance companies/REITs/BDCs, mortgage originators/servicers, broker/dealers, and consultants/advisors.

In addition to the standard property and casualty coverages of general/excess liability, property, and workers compensation, we offer significant expertise in the following professional and management liability coverages:

  • Professional Liability (aka Errors and Omissions)
  • Cyber Liability
  • Financial Institution Bond/Crime
  • Representations and Warranties
  • Director and Officers Liability
  • Employment Practices Liability
  • Fiduciary Liability
  • ERISA Bond

Our professional advisors are sought out to participate in panels to provide their expertise on available products, how to secure them and how the market is evolving:
